Paste: The Must-Have Clipboard Manager for Mac Users
For many of us, our browser is an indispensable tool. But have you ever stopped to think about how you could make your browsing experience more productive? Many of us spend a lot of time in a browser, however, there are some strong opinions about how a browser should work. That was until I heard about Arc, the new browser from the Browser Company.
What is Arc Browser?
At first, we from Productivity-Pilot were skeptical. How can a browser increase my productivity? The Company behind Arc was pitching a completely new internet browsing experience, which I thought was just hype. However, after receiving an invitation to try Arc, I decided to give it a go. I was impressed with the onboarding experience; Arc issued me a membership card with my name and a fun, quirky title, which made me feel special and unique.
However, the true test was the browser's functionality. In short, it was nearly perfect. The team behind Arc studied how people use browsers and re-engineered the experience from the ground up, with the browser frame itself using Chromium, the same engine as Chrome. This means that all the websites and Chrome extensions that you rely on will continue to work as they always have.
What we like the most about Arc

1
Organization into "spaces" or "contexts"
Arc's organization is based around the concept of spaces, which allows you to create multiple contexts for different types of browsing activities, such as home, work, or entertainment. Each space has its own set of tabs, bookmarks, and even user profiles, so you can easily switch between them without losing your place or needing to log in and out of different accounts.
2
Vertical Design
Arc's design takes advantage of the vertical dimension of your computer screen, which is often underutilized by other browsers. This allows you to see more of your tabs and bookmarks at once, reducing the need to constantly scroll or open new windows.

3
Split-screen support
Arc's split screen support is top-notch, allowing you to easily split your screen between two tabs or even two different spaces. Everything within one browser window. This makes it easy to multitask and keep all your relevant tabs and contexts within easy reach.
More advantages of Arc
- Keeps all of your tabs in one window
- User-friendly and visually appealing design
- Different user profiles for different contexts
What we don't like
- Sometimes the browser is still a bit buggy, however, the developers are publishing updates regularly
- The browser frame uses Chromium
Summary
In conclusion, Arc is the browser you never knew you needed. Its organization features, stunning design, and seamless switching between contexts make it the browser of the future. While there are some minor drawbacks, such as the membership card issue and the fact that the browser frame uses Chromium, which is the same engine as Chrome, the benefits far outweigh them.
